Meet our Funeral Director...

Colin Comber has been a Funeral Director and Manager at Hansfords for the last 8 years. Prior to this he helped the previous owners of Hansfords in a part-time capacity for nearly 20 years. He has formerly been a Signalman with South-West trains and a Financial Services Manager with the old Midland Bank.

He has been very active in his local community with 15 years as Group Scout Leader, running an Explorer Scout unit, being a Duke of Edinburgh Assessor, as well as running the “Explorers Carnival Club” and taking part in up to 15 carnivals a year. At present he is a Seaton Lion and District Lions newsletter editor.

Colin is married to Dee, who works in a local Nursing home. They have 3 children. Bethany who manages Puffins Pre-school at Beer, James who manages a super-car rental garage in Dubai, and Craig who is a Dental Technician in Axminster.
